Anne’s Methow Story

Anne moved to the Methow in 1983 to spend the winter skiing after earning a degree in Land Use Planning from the University of Washington. After coordinating a project for the Okanogan County Planning Department, she extended her winter sojourn into the summer and fall. She fell in love with the Methow Valley’s mountain lifestyle and its community and never left. Anne and a friend created Methow Valley Central Reservations and obtained her real estate license in 1984. Real estate for Anne is the perfect combination of exploring the natural beauty of the Methow Valley and Anne’s education and work experience in land use planning.

After building a home in Mazama, Anne, her husband, Peter, and their two daughters traded their alpine abode for a farmhouse with acreage on Lower Bear Creek south of Winthrop. Anne explores our Valley trails and mountains on foot, with alpine and Nordic skis and on bicycles. If you don’t find Anne at work or out exploring the hills, you can find her in her garden or making jam from her well known raspberry patch!
